save ur money only lasted 1 season 30 rounds
With that low spin I would add the loft back and that should increase your carry distance
Great video. I bought a set of these when Faldo won with them around 1990. I was in my late teens. They were my pride and joy and I played very nicely with them (around 5 handicap). They have never been sold and sit in an old bag in my mancave. I’m inspired to take them out for a twighlight 9.
Distorted audio. Lowering mic input gain may help.
You will always change the way the club preforms , like bounce, and other things that the club was designed to preform…..
Hi Andrew I hope the weather is kind next week, I’m very envious, it’s a long while since I played a links course. I used to play Seacroft, Skegness every year when I was good enough to play team golf. Enjoy Nick
Dont worry Andrew i play plenty of the other S word shots :)
If you want people to watch your videos, get rid of the echo.
Very old video. Thanks for the advice.
We need to dither around again Andrew 😛👍
Nice to see you again. I hope you have a great week with your brother. Good or bad golf doesn't really matter the main thing is the time with your brother.
Thanks Chuck👍
Jealous as all hell Andrew! BTW, after a break it's always the short game that suffers - touch is a much underestimated factor in my opinion.
Sweet bag of clubs Andrew! Enjoy Royal Birkdale my friend.
Thanks! Will do!
Time for some Blueprint S Andrew😉 I have a 58/08 Vokey M grind...cant find anything that does the job better.
Fantastic to see you and a lovely set of clubs have a great time at royal birkdale
Thank you, Andrew. Enjoy Royal Birkdale.
Thanks Michael, can't wait to play the new layout.
I use one and don’t care what others say!
Slip of the tounge. As the shaft gets longer, the lie gets flatter for the same height of person.
I bought the new Agera and holy smokes it is AMAZING
Just picked up a Ping O blade at a Play It Again store. Like the feel! It's in great condition for an older putter...I'm happy.
Always cut my putters down to 32".
I'm 6"1"" and just cut down my putter from 35"" to 33 "" and that improved my putting significantly . The weight does feel different but it feels better
First driver that I was able to hit 300 yards. 8 degree I still own it.
I still have a set of Yoro MP 32 3-pw in almost new condition, excellent irons . I switch out my basically new sets of Yoro MP 29 s and 14s iron sets. All 3 my top 3 ever made for myself. They can shoot under par to this day if you have the game. The Yoro models are the best with better feel because of the copper inlay and better spec heads ect.
Hi Andrew it’s great to see you back and as always you say it as you see it. It is great to go back to basics, as an elderly golfer most you tube pros expect me to do what I’m not capable of, but you explain that the basics will nearly always improve your performance. Thanks a lot and good to see you are busy. Nick
This putter is absolutely insane. It should be illegal it's so good
I can’t speak for everyone, but off set clubs have forced me to reduce to nearly nothing my forward shaft lean at address. Otherwise, I will hit them about 3 feet high. The USGA should ban them.
Let’s see the demo with an actual slicer hitting the shots.
Andrew, i have a ping g425 driver and love it. In your opinion, is there a big difference between my driver and the ping g430?
Not much difference, G430 not as noisy, more forgiving on off centre strikes.
We've also had a dreadful wet season here in Far North Queensland. The wet season started early (November) and has persisted into July. Dreadful! Agree with you wholeheartedly about the 10k, it just didn't work for me. I got fitted for the 730 irons and they were excellent for my old body. Then looked at "woods". I'm into the Max sft but pondering the fairway wood setup. Driver, 3, 5 and 7? Or Driver and 5w with a 3w shaft before getting into the 5 iron of the 730 set? After all that would be a 19 deg - 21.5 deg gap! Decisions, decisions. The Ping fitter suggested Driver, 3w, 5w before heading into the 5i.
Hi Ken, thanks for the update. The G430 7 wood has been working well for many of my customers. Seeing less golfers carrying a 3 wood. Best regards Andrew
Great review as always thanks Andrew, just ordered these in 50, 54 and 58 to replace my old Glide 2 set. Looks like that longer grip they put on the ChipR?
Hi Vince, Yes they are fitting the Wedge grip which has the 3 positions for the hands. Great wedges. Thanks for watching.
Nice to hear from you again. Thanks for the info. I really like Mizuno, but I do have to agree getting my new wedges was a nightmare. I see a basketball in the background What do you do with the basketball.
Hi Chuck, thanks for the comments. If you watch this video towards the end I show you a drill using the basketball.
Andrew, I have no issue with you not posting regularly, and would prefer that you only post, like this one, when you have something to say that is relevant. Far too many channels are posting for the sake of it. As a PGA member for 51 years and still doing a bit of coaching I’ve also found that the longer I coach, the more simple my message is getting. Good basics like grip/stance/posture and nothing more than lower body rotation and weight shift improves more people than all the technical stuff, and keeping the message simple.
Thanks for your comments, coming from a fellow PGA Pro it is great to hear you share the same coaching ideals. Best regards Andrew
Hi Andrew, good video. I have a ping g425 driver which is great. Is there any benefit in looking at the g430? I’m a 15 handicapper. Also, my irons are yonex. They are so underrated. Great clubs!
Hi Paul, I would go to a Ping fitting facility and do a comparison. I see a gain in the mishits on the G430 and also a better sound. Agree that Yonex are underrated! Best regards Andrew
Welcome back Andrew.. Been missing you content these past few months...
Enjoy your videos Andrew. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Hi Andrew I’ve had one for a few weeks now. Due to a bad lower back issue I am not able to turn on my backswing anywhere near as much as I should so I have always played with a fade/slice. I have tried a number of times going back to a ‘normal’ driver but keep reverting to an offset one. Without a doubt they help me greatly even if they don’t actually cure my fade. This Cobra Air driver is without a doubt the best of the offset drivers I have had. I especially like the lightness of the club and you are right about not having to bother getting it set up correctly. Lastly it’s a much better price than the current new generation of drivers from the likes of Ping or Callaway.
Hi Phil, Yes this is a very good Driver and great value for money. Best regards Andrew
I carry 52 and 58 myself
I use old ping putters,my fav is ping zing 2 I buy cheap ping putters put dremel on them then polish then rubbed down with autosol metal polish, now they look like gold bars lol.another putter I like is the YES putters think these were made mid 90s to early 2000s these were top of the line putters at the time, boy are they good,it's madness paying £300 for scottie cameron, there's some great putters from years ago that are still very high quality
Thanks for your comments. All the best Andrew
I love my chipper. Gives me so much more confidence
Camera on the polished brush would be nice otherwise eh!
I just got a set. How do they compare with modern mizuno blades i wonder?
Still great clubs, the lofts on some of the new blades are stronger.
O hear it's their 425 drivers are their loudest,that is great😊
Great job!
Still have my Ping Fetch putter with the black and red trim I bought a couple of years ago. I love that putter Andrew. I recently added a Golf Pride reverse taper round grip to it. Its turned out to be a good add as has the putter. Its hard to beat the Ping line of putters or any of their other clubs. My golf bag is loaded with the Ping G 425 hybrids and woods. They make playing the game a lot of fun. Recently added the Ping Chip R. Its been a nice add as well. Nice overview of the new putters Andrew. Stay well my friend. Joe
I'm quite happy to pay big bucks for something that will be used around 36 times per round. Drivers, irons and wedges? Maybe not so keen. BTW, I noticed that Ping dropped my Valor from their range and, so help me, it's easily the best putter I've had in 72 years of playing the game.

I would love to see you compare the Cobra T-Rails vs Cleleand halo full face vs Wilson Launchpad.
Great video! How would you compare the to the G430's with the stronger lofts? I watched another video and the guy compared them to the 430's in 5 categories and he ranked the 430's 5/5 giving the G730's 0/5! He compared price, performance etc.
How was 35 inch standard putter determined..it was not for science reason, it was because it fitted better into a cart bag...
best review yet ... honest
